“Privilege Unhinged was a finalist in the Bassett House #Screendatnight #screendatnight Short Film Competition!!!
Bassett House is founded by HBO's Insecure costar Jean Elie—he played Issa Rae’s brother on the iconic television series.
Voting for the contest ended on November 7th. While we didn’t win, the “Privilege Unhinged” team was grateful for the opportunity! Congratulations to everyone involved in this amazing opportunity!

LANDE IS RELEASING HER DEBUT NOVEL!
Lande Yoosuf adapted her short film Second Generation Wedding, which costars Gina Yashare from the CBS sitcom Bob Loves Abishola, into a novel.
Lande is really excited to express this very important story into another format/medium, and will be touring with the book starting October 2022.

The short film Love in Submission that Lande Yoosuf directed in November of 2019 is now part of a program comprised of several filmmaking collectives/organizations known as Full Spectrum Features!
One of the collectives Northwest Film Forum, is hosting an event on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival to discuss Love in Submission amongst others as part of a case study to promote diversity in Hollywood! ONE SCRIBE MEDIA is launching a Crowdfunding Campaign!
Hello Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend.
I know that some of you are aware of One Scribe Media’s first short film entitled PRIVILEGE UNHINGED that will be shooting in late Jan-early Feb in 2017. It’s about a young black professional’s struggle to speak up about racial inequality at her job because she wants to move up the ladder. It’s a very timely project considering everything that has been going on in the news recently.
We are launching a crowdfunding campaign TODAY and need to raise $7,000 in 30 days. Please donate whatever you can as soon as possible. If I reach 1/3 of my goal by the first 7 days, it’ll dramatically increase my chances of raising all of the money :-)
